OSGi and Web services

Just ran across an interesting tidbit about S2AP:

“Publishing OSGi services as WebServices is on our roadmap, but it won’t be available for 1.0 final.”

Christopher, In Apache Axis2 trunk, there is an OSGi bundle under development for exposing web services. All you need to do is install JAXWS annotated jar as a bundle and it will be available as a web service. There are some threads on axis-dev on alternate approaches to depolying a web service (Say a deployer service that one can call programatically). Please join the axis-dev mailing list and chime in.
